The Leica iCON grade solutions are now on-boarded on the Leica MC1 platform.

Leica iCON iGD1 - CoPilot Solution

1D automatic dozer blade control

An easy-to-use solution that allows operators to set a desired slope/grade reference and automatically holds that slope/grade without the need for lasers, masts or GNSS. By automatically adjusting the blade position, CoPilot enables operators at any experience level to easily achieve and maintain a smooth surface, slope or grade without the need for additional passes and re-work, reducing fuel and labour costs.

Reduce rework

Hit the correct grade the first time. You can set the target slope and start dozing immediately with the auto-target function. The elevation of the blade is controlled automatically by the CoPilot system.

Avoid mistakes

The iGD CoPilot eliminates the creation of washboard surfaces and incorrect cross slope of the blade. As a result, beginner operators are able to deliver professional results, leading to reduced costs caused by rework and wear and tear.

Reduce training efforts

Even less experienced operators will do the job more productively in a shorter period of time. With CoPilot assistance, the personnel will be able to control multiple machines without the need for specialised training. On top of that, the iGD CoPilot works without a rotating laser, total station or GNSS correction source.

Reduce wear and tear

Expand your machine life span by reducing rework which would add unnecessary working hours on your machine. Invite your iGD CoPilot into the cabin with you and reduce operator fatigue and costs associated with incorrect grade by cutting down additional wear and tear on the machine.

Leica iCON iGD2 - 2D Dozer Solution

Intelligent 2D grading solutions for dozers

Leica iGD2 solutions for dozers increase machine utilisation, productivity and material efficiency in any earthmoving and fine grading contract. The solution can be paired with a wide range of sensors and combines ease of use, flexibility with an intuitive user interface.

Entry-level machine control

The Leica iCON grade iGD2 solution provides automatic control of both slope and elevation. Laser receivers are mounted on the dozer and used together with a rotating laser. A single laser indicates height. Adding an extra mast and laser sensor allows you to work independently of the slope direction.

Flexible solution

Leica iCON grade offers you the market’s most flexible, modular and upgradable machine control solution for dozers. The iGD2 solution is a good option for entry-level customers and new markets. Upgrade easily from 2D to 3D and change configuration fast and cost-efficiently to adapt to different requirements on a job site.

State-of-the-art sensors

Use the Leica MLS720 or MLS 820 laser receivers. The new MLS820 laser receiver has a wider span which can be used without an electrical mast. It features Electronic SetPoint to avoid manual moving of the sensor up and down and eliminates the use of an electrical mast. It can also be used as a stand-alone unit powered by a car battery in areas with poor electrical supply.

Upgradable

Benefit from a simple 2D solution with new and improved sensors and upgrade easily when the job site requires more automation, documentation and accuracy. Add MCP80 panelMC1 software, and GNSS antennas or radio and prism to upgrade to a 3D solution without having to change sensors and cables.
